A PLANT CARE APP

Mobile App Design Project.

The app Basil was created to help users grow beautiful, lush basil plants. The app is designed for users with any level of gardening skill. Basil app provides users with information relating to flowers, needs, varieties, harvest, fertilizers, issues, and propagate. The app focuses only on basil, as it is easy and enjoyable to grow. The main page has a “get growing” button that leads users to the “grow” page. This screen includes buttons that lead the user to an informational page relating to one of the seven topics.

The target audience for the Basil app is a person of any age who either already enjoys growing plants, or wants to begin with an easy to care for herb. Basil app is designed to help its user build the confidence that is sometimes necessary to continue the practice of gardening. Plant care can be overwhelming without the proper knowledge. Since each kind of plant has individual preferences, a basil-focused app relieves stress and confusion regarding its specific needs.
